Cool that it's listed right on the box as compostable.
Hoping they can get ziplock "plastic" stuff more eco friendly soon
If you want to avoid BPA (synthetic estrogen) or any other endocrine disrupter chemical, this is what you buy. We need to move away from plastic when it comes to food storage.

The asterisk says they're compostable in commercial facilities so they might not break down in your home compost pile.

Not really compostable, because of the wax, but likely better than plastic baggies.

Will this work to keep my toasted sandwiches from getting soggy or soft?

I like to use aluminum foil for our sandwiches. Cheaper and at least it won't turn into micro-plastics. Although mining it has its own issues.

"these responsibly sourced paper bags are a sandwich bag you can feel good about"

I can't remember ever feeling bad about a sandwich bag. Apparently I have a lot of retroactive guilt I need to deal with.

Bummer that you can't place these in a toaster to make grilled cheese sandwiches.

FYI, coupon works on multiple quantities. I ordered 3 x and got 1.20 off each. I did not try multiple orders.

For what it's worth, Aluminum has a really high recycle rate. My local municipality collects Aluminum, including foil, and sends it off to recycling.

I use these bags for my sandwiches but just about everything else gets put in a reusable container. Some are plastic but I am slowly switching to glass (and looking at stainless steel tins as well.)

Why not reusables for your sandwiches? Glad, Rubbermaid, et al make them. Dollar Tree.

Apart from aluminum cans, tin foil doesnt get recycled. It's considered to be contaminated with food waste so it goes to the landfill.
