The ergo stand tacks on another $100-150. I helped a friend setup a 4k non-gaming LG Ergo monitor and I gotta say the ergo stand is impressive, but I would only recommend it for folks who move their monitor a lot. If you don't move your monitor much, you're better off with a $30-40 Amazon monitor mount.

Almost bought it, till I read that it can only go up to 100Hz over HDMI with Freesync on. So if you are planning to use it with the XBox Series X you have to turn OFF freesync to get 120Hz signal.

FreeSync is just AMD's name for their implementation of adaptive sync. According to rtings both the GN800/GN880 support FreeSync natively and are G-sync-compatible (Nvidia's adaptive sync) over DisplayPort.

Most LG Ultragear monitors have some adaptive sync limitations over HDMI though. According to rtings both the GN800 and this GN880 are limited to 100hz adaptive sync over HDMI. If you use this on the Xbox Series X you cannot enable 1440p + 120fps + VRR at the same time; you have to pick two. I ended up going with a different monitor (Dell S2721DGF) because of this.
