Lenovo L28u-30 28-inch 4K display with an ultra-thin bezel is ideal for home entertainment and gaming. Astounding clarity with colors that flow seamlessly and a response time of 4ms enhance your gaming experience. Wide viewing angles enabled by the In-Plane Switching panel and low blue light filtering from TUV Rheinland offer better readability and comfort. The monitor displays vivid colors covering an exceptionally wide color range with high accuracy at 99% in the sRGB gamut and 90% in the DCI-P3 color gamut.
it really depends on what you want...it's 4K so it will look nice, but response time and refresh rate are low. Also, unless you have a very good graphics card, you won't really be gaming in 4K. Try looking for a deal on 1440p at a higher refresh rate. That said, those tend to be generally more expensive than this price point.
This monitor is amazing for office work, watching videos, watching streams, etc. Not good for gaming. Finding a good IPS 4k 28" monitor at $200 is very difficult.
I have a 4 monitor setup, 3 on level 1, 4th above the main monitor, that's where I stuck this guy for casual browsing/watching while working from home. Shit I may pick 2 more up for my side monitors. 4k is beautiful.
Main monitor is a 27" 1440p 144hz 1ms monitor for gaming. Don't buy this for first person shooters. If you want 4k for gaming, look into HDR and a hella powerful video card.
Been eying 4k monitors a while for multiple uses but mainly coding. In-store, I found 28" and 32" monitors to be in a sweet spot for my main usage with 2 apps side-by-side. Acer refurbed units are available online for cheaper when ebay has a coupon and monoprice has a 32" model on sale for aroudn 250 sometimes but I was waiting for a bigger deal. This monitor has been great so far for my needs. Color accuracy and gamut is very good and HDR is a always fake on monitors anyways (and just pure marketing BS anyways IMO). My preference is always color gamut and stability of the picture when changing viewing angles and this monitor performs very well. It's been a big upgrade for me for reading text in general.
