Absolutely, but you might be just as well with a motion sensor or timed switch as they would be automatic.
any recommendation for motion sensor or timed switch that is cheaper than this kasa smartswitch?

I have these installed on all the closets in my house and have them all set to turn off after 5 minute. Haven't had any issues. I've looked all over and can't find a smart sensor light switch that works with both Google and Alexa for a comparable price.
any recommendation for motion sensor or timed switch that is cheaper than this kasa smartswitch?
