Reddit thread on this model and price was for 8GB config, 16GB is much better. A user noted adding a front 120mm fan helped a lot with temps, but the CPU and GPU are both fairly efficient so a little air should go a long way.
GPU is a solid $500 right now and cpu is $360+ so the value is certainly there.
Unfortunately, Walmart is providing very little spec information. Oddly every photo they provide is of the front of the machine. Maybe anyone who has one of these units can chime in?
Is the 16GB RAM dual channel?
What's the RAM speed?
What's the motherboard & chipset?
Power supply?
How can it just have 1 HDMI-out for monitor connections? Doesn't seem accurate.
Is there an RGB on/off?
Detail on fans & cooling systems?
No Bluetooth?!
Case dimensions & weight?
Easily upgradeable?

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB DDR6 graphics: 2*DP, 2*HDMI
Last time this went OOS quickly.

-chipset - according to this page, it's b550 (although the gpu on this page doesn't match, but i'm assuming asus considers it configurable):
https://rog.asus.com/desktops/mid...eries/spec
-the above page also lists dimensions (7.09" x 16.93" x 16.85") and wifi & bluetooth connectivity
-walmart spec page says 2x DP and 2x HDMI from the gpu
guesses:
-dual channel - most likely (i'd be surprised if it isn't)
-i would think rgb should be configurable either in bios or asus aura/armoury crate
-the person above commented being able to add a 120mm fan which should help
-neither the walmart nor the product page explicitly lists 'ATX' anywhere, so while i can't promise anything, if ASUS is using an off the shelf motherboard, i would think it should be upgradeable. i am a bit concerned that they didn't list ATX anywhere, though.
i hope that at least helps a bit.
edit: OP's youtube link below should help a lot. micro atx board, so you could probably dump the case and put it in one with better airflow if you want

I'd actually be surprised if it IS dual channel RAM.
No idea what the power supply is or if I'll have to replace it. No sense of number of fans. No pics to show anything about airflow. No sense of motherboard size. No sense of ability to switch out the terrible HDD for an SSD. Lack of Bluetooth (I'm guessing).
Eek. I feel like this is a roll of the dice. Could be a really terrible prebuilt, I simply can't tell.

you can always swap out a hdd for an ssd (2.5" SATA SSD at least).

Worst case, 30 day return period so there's that.

Case is terrible. Lack of fans, and places to add fans, is cringe
Stock cooler is quite small and should be replaced to support the high powered CPU (and GPU)
PSU is 550W Bronze. Not great, not terrible
This one's dual channel RAM, though impossible to say if the one you actually get would be
Don't see non-BIOS way to turn on and off RGB. Personally I despise RGB...
I think it's hilarious the narrator is "stoked" about the HDD

-stock cooler does seem a little gimpy, but the 5700g is actually a quite efficient cpu so you won't need anything crazy even if you do swap it out.
-the psu is actually 500w continuous. it's 550w peak, which doesn't mean much.
-it's safe to assume based on the video that whichever you'll get will also be dual channel. 8gb sticks have the economy of scale, meaning it'll probably be a bit cheaper for asus to stick in two 8gb vs one 16gb. and since asus isn't new to the hardware game, i would like to think they know what they're doing (i hope i'm not giving them too much credit).
-using bios is more reliable to control lights than a software based one since bios talks directly to the motherboard, whereas the software has to talk to the hardware through the operating system.
