Sorry but cores is not the end all be all. Remember bulldozer? And im sure AMD fans will say the same thing once Intel 12th gen hits with 16 cores, and 13th gen hits with 24 cores (heterogeneous though).

The 11375H outperforms the 5800H in gaming, aside from a handful of titles, which is good considering this is paired with a 90W 3060. Though the 5800H obviously is the better productivity CPU. The 11375H also has a lower TDP (aka uses less power). And this is in a thin and light 14" 3lb laptop. So its not like 4C8T is junk, it has its uses.

If only the $1349 G14 ROG Zephyrus deal was still around. 1TB drive vs 512GB here, and it comes with a 5900HS (35w TDP) that should perform on par with the i7 here for gaming applications. Only difference I can see is the 60w/80w 3060 instead of 90w here might be a deal killer for some, but to be honest that extra 10w probably nets you an extra 2-3 fps at best.

This one for $100 less, returb with a 2 year warranty via allstate , squareTrade.

Somthimes ebay has one of those refurb coupons that can save you another 10%. (None active at this time though)
