I've bought 3 sets of these and they go on sale for a similar price semi-regularly.

I love them in my garage/garage gym and basement.

They're great. Put out a good deal of light, run cool and are super easy to install - although the included screws are trash.

One tip for garage install is that you can buy an outlet socket adapter for a couple of bucks and use an existing fixture outlet (or even garage opener bulb outlet) to power a whole series of these.- this is what I did in my garage.
I would avoid these, I bought a larger pack of the same brand from hyowhatever and literally had a switch catch fire and melt while hanging in my shop.
Had been on for a couple hours at most.
An electrical danger and not something you want in a shop that has flammables like finishes, paint or cleaning products.

I'm in for one.
Just paid $38.12 for four 5000K workbench lights that I can daisy chain in my garage.
I had bought four 5000K shop lights at Walmart, but had to run a lot of extension cords in the ceiling joists since the ceiling outlets are sparse.
Now I can move those lights to the workshop where ceiling outlets are plentiful, and these lights silver my garage lighting needs. Now I have my extension cords back!!!

From the instructions it looks like these can either hang or be flush is that correct?

Kind of. They come with a bracket that can be directly mounted to the ceiling as well as chains for hanging. The bracket doesn't hold them flat against the ceiling though.

Overall these are great. I bought two packs and they were a fantastic upgrade. The price is good but they do go on sale periodically. I'd only buy if you are going to use them soon.

Just got 3 sets of these. They aren't bad but even with 12 of them mounted flush to my garage ceiling, it still isn't that bright as there is alot of area between the rows that is alot more dim at floor level. Now I do have 12ft ceilings and a 3 car garage so I may need more. Depending on how ypu hang them and where, they are decent for the price.

Thanks bought another one. I have two other sets and the lumens are not good enough for the power requirement. With that said, I don't leave them on more than a few hours at a time, so the 500 watts shouldn't be too expensive.

i've had something similar...looks exactly like this but not this same brand. Have had no issues what so ever. Probably got a lemon.

Got 2 sets of these at about $38 over the last couple of months. 4 lights for the workshop area, 4 for the 2-car garage. Really bright, install was easy with 2 people. They are so light I installed half the brackets into the drywall using the provided screws/anchors. Had to use longer screws for the studs. I would recommend these at $35

You can see the mounting clips on the images posted by the OP. These don't have any back/top to it. The plastic tubes has a white paint of some type to prevent the light from displaying on top side. I have a 2 car garage and 3 lights were was more than enough.

I got a set of these last time they were on sale for my garage. I have them paired with Kasa smart plugs which integrates beautifully with Alexa and my smart speakers. I can literally say "Alexa turn on the shop lights" and boom, my entire garage is like full daylight. Absolutely love it!
