FYI, I had gotten one of these for the wife and ended up exchanging it for a flip top [amazon.com] version. We were constantly finding this one with the switch accidentally shifted over to where it would have discharged if something would have pressed down on the top. The switch just moved too easily. The flip top version, on the other hand, requires flipping open the top before you can discharge it, which has a vastly lower chance of accidentally discharging. Just mentioning that in case it helps anyone else make the decision on what type they want. The flip top version is $14.99 right now, so if price is a decider, then this one is obviously much cheaper and wins in that category.

Don't bother , I had this one in black my keys feel down the stairs and it broke , it smelled like water down pepper and cleaner. I will carry bear spray instead.
