I assume you were talking about AirPods that was 99 on Black Friday, and on sale for 110-120. It was with the normal charging case. Meanwhile, this one is with wireless charging case.

This isn't a deal - you could buy these all day long for $90 during black friday, and were regularly $110 on sale since then.

I'd say yes because these don't have an on/off button. They are on and connected to your phone anytime they're out of the case.

Nice deal on ones with the wireless charging case! (The folks talking about this being $99 are talking about the one with the wired charging case).

New AirPods are rumored to be coming out this fall, so if you don't absolutely need these right now, consider waiting.

And if you think you will use these every single day hard, AppleCare is worthwhile considering to give you a free battery service in the 2nd year of ownership. The batteries on these do totally die in under 2 years if you use them hard.

If you can afford a bit more for the Pros, get those. They are infinitely superior and actually a great product. These are average at best and still very overpriced at even $130.

How well they fit you is another consideration. For me the Pros fit way better as the original AirPods kept falling out of my ears during a workout. However for my girlfriend the Pros keep falling out of her ears and she tested a variety of plug sizes including 3rd party ones. So she prefers these AirPods because they fit her better.
