Cast iron griddle with the lines are useless, I'd never recommend them
My EDC is a 10" Lodge but I've been looking to downsize.
The only thing stopping a bad guy with a crepe pan is a good guy with a cast iron skillet.
Why not for cooking steaks/meat etc? I don't think I'd like the kind with deep/tall ridges as they'd be a pain to clean, but wavy ones wouldn't really
