I just returned an open box excellent the other day which should've been an OB fair at best (no box, no stands, no remote). Found out it was a display model with over 8000 hours of screen on time (never turned off in almost a year). TV is amazing and this is a good deal, but I couldn't justify an OLED with that much usage. So if you go the open box route, make sure to check the usage hours.
The only thing missing from this TV is HDMI 2.1, but if you want an OLED with excellent picture quality then you're in the right place.
Only wanting a 55" OLED for gaming right now.
No 2.1 is a dealbreaker

I bought a floor model for $720 (TV and power cord only) during the last sale, but will return it this weekend. It had enough issues (soundbar cutting out, TV would automatically turn back on, already on for thousands of hours), that the like new LG BX I found for $850 was a much better deal. I've had a perfect time with the LG, and the better gaming features are a great bonus.

I wish Costco carried this TV. BB has only a 15 day return, and their extended warranties are ridiculously priced.

You can buy a TV warranty through Costco which is what I have typically done.

I remember when I was in the market for a TV a couple years ago, people here kept saying to hold off because the prices for OLED would drop, once they became more common and there was more competition. They sure were wrong.

Does it at least have HDMI 2.0 for 1080p 120hz gaming?

Anyone know what LD ERR means? I checked the A8H menu and indicated once it triggered this?

People actually prefer buying TVs from BB because I read it is the only place with an extended warranty that covers burn-in for OLED.

Also depending on how much you spend a year, could be 30 or 45 day.

And they have 0% financing plans if you're into that thing

I wouldn't bother with a warranty tho, or if you get one use credit card one or get a cheap 3rd party. Spending a boat load on a tv that you save a lot of money on cancels itself out

I found a BB - Open Box - Excellent for $840. Is that a good price ?

Will I have warranty ? Do I need to buy upsie or other warranty ?
Make sure it's actually an excellent unit. I thought I got a good deal with an open box excellent for $720 2 weeks ago, but it was actually a display unit with no stand and remote. Manager said it was mislabeled. I just cancelled my order instead.

Upsie Warranties also cover OLED burn-in and are generally 35% or more cheaper than BB warranties. Plus, Upsie often offers an additional 10% discount on your first Upsie purchase.

no stand + remote is usually the give away

most people that return a tv still have the stand and/or have no reason to hold onto it
