Got the 1st gen for like $60 at target clearances awhile back and it's been awesome. Even got a tripod for it

Target has it for the same price. I usually prefer target/walmart over amazon when buying electronics to make sure I don't end up getting a fake or used one.

I opted for Amazon as their inventory is probably a bit "fresher" for a $300 speaker. That said this will be replacing my $150 v1 that I got from Target when it was 50% off. I'm not sure how long ago that was but the v1 still has good resale value and I'd feel better with a new battery
