Yup. And it doesn't do anything else. It doesn't work with any game. So unless you are streaming u don't need to waste money on it. I almost bought it thinking it worked with the psvr but it does not

Nope. This webcam only has video and only works for ps5. Previous comments have posted workarounds to get it going for pc but there's better out there for your needs.

Original ps eye camera on ps3 had more functionality then this one. Sad to see Sony slowly take away features. Otherwise , thanks op for posting

Anybody have any tips on how to "make it" as a Twitch streamer if I don't have big boobs? I'm thinking about quitting my job so I can just play video games full time but I need a hook or some kind of online persona that's better than just "Middle Aged Dad Who Sucks At Video Games Plays AAA Titles Terribly And Dies A Lot Even On Novice Settings"

Not sure that this is worth the effort given that webcams have finally reappeared in the marketplace(?). Seems like a fine camera at a pretty decent price, but the price is largely explained by the very limited application for the PS5.

I'd probably watch some of that if you were entertaining. If you could find a way to make this funny in a sustainable way, I'd watch. That is, if you can do it for several hours on end and be watched for the duration without it becoming annoying or hard to watch. If it was too overdone, it'd be more a YouTube clips thing. You should give it a shot.

For example, load up Doom, play on the easiest settings, and die really cringy deaths. Make me feel "wow that was awful but I can't stop watching because of the hilariously relatable commentary". Look into the differences between easy normal hard so you can self-deprecate about how the easy settings have nerfed enemy dmg by 30% yet you still go down like a lead balloon. Play a level on nightmare and struggle hard. I will definitely want to see your face. It is part of the show.

Please do this.
