Feels like a Bioware game from the 2010s. Looks great, unique world, and the voice acting is better than average for a small studio. Probably not for everyone, but one of the few games I've finished that wasn't by Sony or Bioware in recent months. Combat gets a bit repetitive, but other than that, I'd recommend. I'd love to see a sequel.

Just for awareness: DLGamer asks for all the information including phone number, full address, and will not complete transaction without verifying email AND phone number. I tried with a GoogleVoice number and they declined it. If you care about your information, I guess wait for the next Steam sale this winter, bet the price will be the same ballpark looking at the discounts so far directly on Steam.

I've been interested in this game for some time, however, I have yet to purchase it. You just get jaded for being hopeful that a game is good, only to play it a few times, and never look back. For those that have played this game, is it worth the purchase?

It's a pretty solid AA game that was a lot of fun, but I have no idea why I did exactly that with this game. It's still installed and waiting for me to go back to it.

I loved this game. If you watch the ACG review on YouTube, you'll know exactly what you're getting. The quests are incredibly well written, and the story was very engaging. It can be a little janky but that was easy to overlook for the good combat and immersive world/storytelling.

The bad lip syncing is a major problem in a dialogue heavy game. This game is so close to being great, but as is it's going to depend on what flaws you can tolerate versus how much you like what it gets right.

This game is ok, but it's super unpolished and definitely not worth more than this. It basically feels like a 10 year old game, at least.

I got to the (early on in game) point where you rescue a dude and have to fetch his clothes. The arrow kept pointing me towards a nonexistent point where his clothes are and after giving up and googling the quest turns out his clothes are on other side of map and then out of rage uninstalled the game and got refunded. I wasn't the only one who couldn't find his clothes according to many threads on Reddit and other forums.

The combat tree/system is pretty refreshing but that's the only redeeming quality about this game. I got it for free on PS+ so while I can't complain that the game has no replay value, I certainly wouldn't want to buy it if I was aware of that.

I picked this up yesterday and ended up playing it for 4 hours. I really like it so far. I think people expecting AAA quality may be disappointed by a few things, like the facial animations. But I'm really enjoying it. I think if you like The Witcher, or Bioware RPGs like Dragon Age, you can enjoy this. I'm not saying it's as good as those--hard to say exactly when I'm only 4 hours in--but I'm definitely going to at least get my money's worth out of this and hopefully beat the whole thing. I think it's a good sign that I'm wishing I could go play more right now instead of working.
