Nice, love that these are starting to get cheap per terabyte. Just picked up a 8tb sata for $700, about the same price per terabyte. Slowly decommissioning my mechanical drives....
i once bought a 2gb team branded sd card. it died after a few uses. i've been biased against the brand since then. i just got a good old board with many pci-e slots but no m.2. thinking of getting a cheap m.2 with a riser adapter card. 16gb ddr3 ram so maybe dram isn't critical to have.

Since the drive in a USB enclosure, the benchmark speeds are WAY lower than what the drive can actually do. It's used solely for secondary game storage (Steam library). I'll provide the benchmarks, though, if you really want them.
There are some benchmark speeds posted by users in the review section on NewEgg.
I am wondering if it is worth picking this up since the Samsung 980 was down to $93.50 last week. Much faster, better support. I think I am going to wait for another deal like that.
