Reviews points out missing sockets, Home Depot response is buy both lol. includes 9mm, 13mm, 15mm but not 14mm or 19mm! I'm amazed they even included 8, 10 and 12.
Incomplete
I am sure this is an excellent product. My problem is that there are sockets missing. Where is 11mm and 14mm? It makes it useless from my stand point and I will not waste my money on it.

Bear Wolfe, When making these sets we try to avoid as much duplication as possible to get our customers the best value for their money. The reason the Metric set is missing the 11 and 14 mm size is that we cover these sizes in the SAE set with the 7/16 ( 11.11mm) and the 9/16 (14.28mm). For a customer who purchases both sets, we try to include the fewest 'duplicated' sizes as possible for the best value.

Totally agree and thanks for the info I myself was looking at having the 18 (which many sets don't include--yeah I know that you can use sae socket-I believe 3/4- but sometimes more precision is needed. Also like you said the 8 and 9 are a plus for me.

My thoughts too exactly.
A set is never complete without 14mm and then 19mm.
In other words, no more than 150 ft lbs. And like others have said, having to buy both Metric and SAE to still have a half azz set that is close, but not exact, is why these are on sale about once a month. Where these might shine is if you are missing some of the sockets included, where the individual price can be quite high.

Their analogy is very flawed. I own nothing but Japanese cars so SAE isn't used or needed on any of my vehicles. I almost was going to grab this but looks like I'm getting the harbor freight set instead.

I know the sizes are off by less than 1mm and they'll work, but I still like the sockets to be 11mm and 14mm. Just seems nuts to add more tolerance.

The other flaw in their line of reasoning is that they don't do this with their regular 3/8 metric impacts. That set comes with:
10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 mm
This is a way more useful impact set. Does anyone really *need* 8 and 9mm impacts? At these sizes and torque levels I'd be more concerned with rounding off or shearing off a bolt head than I would be worried about an exploding non-impact socket.
More importantly, if this whole, "we don't want to duplicate the items that are in the standard set" thing was really a plan, then they'd do it across the ENTIRE Husky line, right? My guess is that they put out a bid to some some chinese manufacturer on a metric thinwall 3/8 set and no one bothered to see what range the set included.

Realistically you would loosen torqued bolts and not use a torque gun to tighten the smaller size bolts.
I bought both sets. Are they supposed to wobble when I put it on my 3/8 impact wrench. If I put on the Adapter that comes with it. It fits perfectly. Am I missing something. Thanks.
