I do not use usb-c cables to charge the 4 iPhones in my house because I have built-in USB ports in the outlets. Additionally, all of our cars have usb-a ports for direct CarPlay. Please try not to be so narrow-minded.
I don't see how it is obsolete. Not everyone have converted to lightning/USB-C cable. This option is cheaper than going with lightning/USB-C charger and block
Not narrow-minded; insecure and trying to feel superior.

I have absolutely no need for this cable and yet I'm so tempted to grab a short 1 footer for a convenience desktop charging and given my past positive experience with the USB-C version of this short AmazonBasics cable. The one review I found suggested that the cable has a nice stiff nylon braid (which maps to my own experience with the USB-C to USB-C option) but perhaps a member here can attest to the quality of strength and stiffness of the cable(?).

Good luck!
Jon

Good deal on the one footers but with all the 3 foot dynex ones I have that roll up into tiny, portable rolls, I'm gonna pass.

Only a good value for the 1 footers as the $2 discount is larger portion of price.

I like having some shorties around for travel battery bank kits.
Easier to have 1 foot and a power bank in a bag than 6 feet

Amazon does have lifetime warranty on these so that's nice

While I'm going all usb-c now, most people I know haven't made the switch. I'd wager the majority of people who are not tech minded would appreciate this. People are slow to adapt.
