I use a Synology router and the parental controls are phenomenal. Filtering, scheduling, grouping, and reward features have been so helpful the last year and a half using it

I have found this to be the complete opposite of the truth, and that these are affected by significantly fewer vulnerabilities than the more common Netgear, TP Link, etc. routers.

Do you have a source to back up your claim?

Great, stable router/AP if you don't care about Wifi6. They've added WPA3 to it as well.

Solid equipment from a company that provides fairly frequent updates. I've had mine for over a year now, and I don't feel like it's just going to stop working at that 13/14 mos mark like all the NetGear and Linksys seemed to do in the past.

I can't say my place is big enough to warrant buying at this price point... But the profound love I have for my Synology router is making it really hard to say no.

Customizations are sparse and I'm sure you could flash custom firmware but the support and stability are among the best. It's so nice to not have to work about that stuff anymore unless you thoroughly enjoy it.
