just a heads up for anyone who has a really bright room. HDR content is borderline unwatchable since its so dark. Never had this issue in the same room with my LG OLED.

Damn thanks for this. Got an offer for that price and I think I have to go for it. Even if the price was down to $3100 at a normal retailer, tax would bring it back up to $3400 here.

Cant comment on OLED as I do not have one to compare, but yeah I've noticed HDR scenes to be well yeah quite unbearable even in mildly lit environment. I have a 75'' model for reference maybe 85 will be better. That said tho most HDR content I watch at night with all the lights off anyway so works for me.
