Made in Germany high quality tree stand, bought this a couple years ago around the same price, well worth it. I honestly don't think you'll ever need to buy another Christmas tree stand after this, it's heavy duty and made very well, quite heavy too.
I purchased it in "Very Good" condition and it arrived brand new.
Awesome, thanks! Im sick of those screws, can never get it even.
Also, I bought a beer bong last year to help fill up my water. Best investment. Hopefully I can use it wit this thing, though the water reservoir hole looks pretty small.
Both were broken, they had a crack in the base and the sand completely filled the box. It was a complete disaster. Plus they wouldn't refund without shipping back, which was nearly impossible because of the sand and totally destroyed boxes.
I bought this last summer on a similar deal. It is much easier than my older "water pan with screws" tree holder.
The ratcheting system allows you to tighten all around the base of the tree evenly until it is secure. It helps to have a second person who can hold the tree upright to avoid it looking slightly crooked. You can lock it in place once you're happy with it, and it is easy to unlock if you need to adjust it.
I added 1/2 gallon (2L) of water every three or four days in the dry air of Los Angeles. The tree did not dry out.
The XXL size worked for a tree about 4.5 feet tall with a trunk base diameter of about 4 inches across. Not a huge tree.
I would recommend this if you think you'll set up a Christmas tree in the next year or two.
It's a great deal, bought this stand new for 70 a few years ago because I got annoyed with those little screws, setting the tree up takes no time at all!
Got in on this last year and this stand is awesome. Was hoping to pick up a second one but OOS already.
They still have the Medium ones in stock which can do 7 ft tree & trunk with 4.7 inch (12 cm) diameter. Good enough for our typical smaller second tree. Thanks OP

Too late for me 😢
We were actually looking at this last Christmas but can't justify paying $100+ for a stand...for $30, this is a great deal for those that were able to purchase it

Same happened to me. I got two, one was cracked with sand leaking out of the box. The other was fine. I just taped it up and had ups pick it up for return. Definitely inconvenient, but the home pickup for the return was lessened my frustrations.

I got two of these last year. Both "like new".
