CADR of 350/350/350. That puts it at about 142% above a Winix C535, C545, or the Coway 200M. And almost double the junk Samsung one that's way too close to this price for its lackluster performance.

So, it's very good for if you need a single filter for a large room, and so you don't have to buy two sets of filters like running two of the above-mentioned filters

So deal or no deal?

// CCC shows this is properly priced, but not worth jumping at just for the deal.

It's consumer reports second best rated air purifier. Over the last 2 years the average price is $300, but this is nowhere near the lowest price of $194. So not a screaming deal, but a decent discount if you're in the market for an air purifier.

Love this purifier, actually just ordered some more filters for my 401 classic and 121 (the larger version of this one).
Costco has pretty regularly put the 121 on sale for 200, which is what I would recommend going for. They are the exact same fan, the 121 just sits on a larger filter. The "+" part of this also refers to the filter, which can be upgraded when you replace them, I stuck with the regular filter for mine. I believe the + filter is about 20-30 dollars more than the regular filter. As an earlier comment said, this isn't a bad price but nothing to jump at unless you were very much needing one now.

Any idea on the performance of this vs the 211+ Auto. I saw a video where they showed that the intake is smaller on the Auto and it has a lower watt motor but supposedly operates at the same capacity.

Hadn't looked into the auto, sorry. I think the capacity is really more about the filter size, at least in how blueair lists specs. So same size filter, slightly lower power fan that can more appropriately ramp up if needed is my guess.. With where we use ours I just have it going on low all the time and if I smoke up the kitchen or something I knock it on high for a little while.
We leave our 401 on auto mode, which... seems to be just low mode all the time for the room we have it in, but I'm not sure if it is slightly ramping up and down or what. Our Dyson desk one (yea we have a lot of air purifiers) is very apparent on its auto mode, where it will roar up to full speed then back down and display what speed it is at, but these are very subtle to the point where I don't know if its actually doing much besides just low. The good news is they are both super quiet and generate a good amount of airflow so the room isn't stuffy.

All that to say, for the auto vs non-auto, get whichever has a better deal. I can't imagine the auto doing anything all that much better.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking of getting the Auto mostly for the integrated sensor as long as they both performed well.
