That's awesome. What's the best strategy if you just moved to a new city and have legit Zero friends. Anyone ever just walk into a tmo store and ask someone? Just a random special education teacher who doesn't know a soul in Arizona.

i got the guy at local tmobile store to hook me up with this discount 2 years ago when I switched from Vz.if I remember correctly I had to ask him for it and he was not even aware he had codes available.he checked he did i got.also there use to be some tmobile employees selling the codes on ebay

Last time this happened, the manager did a Change of Responsibility (COR) to have my wife be the new accountholder, ported all lines and devices over, and got this and all other discounts.

Awesome! Been waiting for this discount to switch. If I would like to eventually move 3 lines, what is the best strategy, since T-Mobile regularly has the 'add a new line free' offers as well?

As I recall, last year this promo could not be used with Military Magenta or other discounted programs as TM says the discounted programs are already so heavily discounted (and as you can see it is very close).
For example, 5 lines Magenta is $140, minus the 20% it is $112 with all taxes and fees incl. Military Magenta anytime for 5 lines is $110, all included.

Obviously not everyone is military/veteran etc. So with the 20% off it is pretty close, if you can get it. It would also be really nice if military and first responders could get that additional 20% too, but alas, they are not giving away the store!!

I was with TMobile for 3 years ....now on TMobile via hello mobile for half the price .....for me doesn't make sense at all to go back to them...
