The rebate [aqmd.gov] requires a trade in of a working gas mower. I just visited my local lawnmower repair shop and asked the guy if he had one that he would sell to me for $25. He gave me an old Craftsman for free but YMMV on that aspect of the deal. You MUST live in one of the cities [aqmd.gov] in the Southern California AQMD. That covers 4 counties.
Other stores are matching the Amazon price if you prefer Lowe's, Home Depot, or Walmart. All have free shipping.
This is a nice mower for small lawns. I use it on my 2500 sq. ft. yard with no battery-drained-flat problems.

Mower lasts 20-30 minutes on a charge depending how tall your grass it.
Expect to recharge it 2-3 times . I have the snow blower so I already have a backup

20-30 minutes? I get 3 mows on mine and I have a tall fescue grass about 6-8". It only uses one 'bar' on the battery per mow for me. How tall is your grass? 6 feet?
