Dang, this is definitely a better deal. Had a $5 courtesy coupon through amazon though so it made it pretty much equal for me.

Buy the extended warranty. You'll likely need it. These break fairly often. There are better third party options that are more durable and much cheaper.

Oculus replaces them for free if they break, no warranty needed. I believe the ones that were prone to break were earlier ones, and that's why they were pulled from the market for a while. However, the one I bought on walmart.com should have been after that was all over, and it still broke. So far no problems with the free replacement, though.
