you can get any of the bands they offer on the watches' product page for free, you just need to apply the particular coupon code that applies to each band. If you just leave the default selected band (the sport ridge, for the watch4 non-classic), when you go to checkout, you'll see it listed at $0 due to a coupon that's automatically applied; if you pick any other band, it will be listed as a separate item at a cost.
The coupon that applies to the 'defaut band' is "ET", so if you want a different band, find the product number, "pre order it", and then create the coupon via the above method.

for example, say you wanted the "Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic Sport Band, S/M, Black" https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile...r86sbeguj/

The product/item/etc number (whatever it's called) for that particular band is sfr86sbeguj (you can find that in the URL or in the description just below the name on it's product page). Click preorder to add it to your cart, then capitalize all letters of the product id and prepend "ET" to the front, and add that as a coupon. For the above band, the coupon would be "ETSFR86SBEGUJ". Note you'll need to remove the band that you chose with the watch if applicable (only one band coupon appears to apply at once), and the coupon doesn't work if you just try to order a band by itself (I tried)

Ordered 44mm today on Samsung and trade in my active 2 (150 trade in). With EPP came out to 120 after tax with a sport band, plus a 50 dollar credit voucher.

The Honey promo timer restarts if you don't use it during the hour. Hopefully the Watch4 44mm OOS errors are fixed in the morning.

Really disappointing and ugly classic watches. Looks too much like the regular galaxy watch 4 (ie active). Plus they got rid of the leather band offerings, which further cheapen the look. I'd take the lighter aluminum and cheaper price if I pick one up.

What am I missing? How's this a deal. Isn't this the normal price of the BT watch?

What you're missing is an ability to read properly. Hint: $50 gift card with purchase.

Great trade in value. Personally keeping my frontier. I used to have WatchOS and it was garbage. Until I hear more about the interface and battery life, I'll keep my Frontier. Still running great after 2 years

Can I load up some podcasts and audio books on this thing and pair a bluetooth headset to it to listen while running? Is that what this is for?

Sorry, newbie to smart watches, haven't kept up.

Been using my Galaxy Active 2 for 2 years strong and I still get +2 days battery life on it. My GF that has an Apple Watch is jealous of the features of my Galaxy Watch
Yes, I agree. I used Gear S3 frontier for 3 years and traded it in this year for watch 3.
I used to get 3 days of battery life easily on S3.
Lets see how long this watch 3 goes.

Spotify will have offline listening I'd assume YT Music has it too. It has 16GB of storage which should be plenty! This is up from 4GB on my Active2 and a selling point for me. Now I can do yardwork with music and not worry about where my phone is.

I am assuming Samsung doesn't have plans to update the current flagship Watches to the latest Wear OS. Not that my Watch 3 sucks or it doesn't work, just curious. It would be nice since Wear OS has more apps and Google assistant too. No wonder why Samsung is unable to create a good and reliable ecosystem like Apple. This kind of crap is why I don't want to invest in anything Samsung. You are spending $1,000 for a phone and another $300-$400 for the Watch and you get a middle finger only after one year.
Only the Galaxy Watch4 will have Google's new WearOS and none of Samsungs previous watches. However, it seems like the new WearOS partnership between Google and Samsung has promise.

You should look into the new WearOS, Google partnered with Samsung and now the Android smartwatch platform finally has a competent OS.

So is this the Watch Active 4? They removed "active" and are calling the other version the "classic"?
