you can get any of the bands they offer on the watches' product page for free, you just need to apply the particular coupon code that applies to each band. If you just leave the default selected band (the sport ridge, for the watch4 non-classic), when you go to checkout, you'll see it listed at $0 due to a coupon that's automatically applied; if you pick any other band, it will be listed as a separate item at a cost.
The coupon that applies to the 'defaut band' is "ET", so if you want a different band, find the product number, "pre order it", and then create the coupon via the above method.

for example, say you wanted the "Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic Sport Band, S/M, Black" https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile...r86sbeguj/

The product/item/etc number (whatever it's called) for that particular band is sfr86sbeguj (you can find that in the URL or in the description just below the name on it's product page). Click preorder to add it to your cart, then capitalize all letters of the product id and prepend "ET" to the front, and add that as a coupon. For the above band, the coupon would be "ETSFR86SBEGUJ". Note you'll need to remove the band that you chose with the watch if applicable (only one band coupon appears to apply at once), and the coupon doesn't work if you just try to order a band by itself (I tried)

Ordered 44mm today on Samsung and trade in my active 2 (150 trade in). With EPP came out to 120 after tax with a sport band, plus a 50 dollar credit voucher.

yea i wish phone battery would last longer too...the good old nokia Stick Out Tongue

anyways, charging the phone daily is annoying already, isn't taking off the watch and charging it daily is kind of extra hassle? esp. if you want to use the sleep tracking function.

Very odd, it sold out just recently on Samsung's website. I wonder if its a glitch. All colors are sold out for the 44mm. The checkout says that it can't be added to cart because its not longer available.

I'm not sure what triggers it. I just made sure I had ad blockers turned off in Edge (Chrome) before going to the page and in about 10 seconds it popped up. Just make sure the Honey plugin is installed and logged into your Honey account.

I attached what the popup looks like
how long before the Honey points showed up in your account? I activated the offer and then checked out with Samsung, and even though it says "offer is activated" on my Honey addon, I don't really see a confirmation that it worked after checkout. first time using Honey!

2-14 days per their FAQ (below). I have used them in the past without issues, so hopefully this goes smoothly. I normally convert my gold to Amazon gift cards, but there are other options.

Honey Gold transactions generally take about 2-14 days to appear as pending in your account after making a purchase (although this may vary and take longer, depending on the purchase and retailer). So don't worry – it could still be processing behind the scenes. If you don't see your transaction in your account after fourteen days, reach out to us. Please note that Honey Gold which shows as pending in your account cannot be used or redeemed until it's no longer pending.

40 Hours of battery life simply sucks... I own the Galaxy active 2 for years, the only complain is the battery life.. especially when I turn on Always On. without Always On, the watch looks really ugly on the wrist.. maybe time to get a rolex.

It seems every 44mm color is OOS at Samsung. They show up as in stock, but then get removed from your cart before you can checkout. Really only interested in purchasing from Samsung with a $150 trade in - doesn't seem worth the upgrade without the trade in.

Should we expect more to be stocked or what?

Great devices but no App Store worthy of a second look. Quit Sammy because of this. Typing from my Apple Watch series 6.
It has the Google play store now.

Can I load up some podcasts and audio books on this thing and pair a bluetooth headset to it to listen while running? Is that what this is for?

Sorry, newbie to smart watches, haven't kept up.
You can, but it is a pain. You have to download things to your computer, then usb upload them to your phone, then use the Samsung Music app to move them to the watch. If you want a playlist, you have to create it in the Music app and, then, move them to the watch.

The coupon that applies to the 'defaut band' is "ET[PRODUCT_NUMBER]", so if you want a different band, find the product number, "pre order it", and then create the coupon via the above method.

Used this method for the extra band. (thank you, sir) Honey $50 cb, Samsung Credit, and Discover 5% via PayPal on 40mm black. I have bitch wrists...

Any idea of what the battery life is with GPS recording? I've been looking around for a full review but have only found "first impressions" w/o that info. Just purchased a Garmin Venu 2 and wondering if this might be better. I'm assuming the 40 hr battery life that they advertise is without always on screen?
