you can get any of the bands they offer on the watches' product page for free, you just need to apply the particular coupon code that applies to each band. If you just leave the default selected band (the sport ridge, for the watch4 non-classic), when you go to checkout, you'll see it listed at $0 due to a coupon that's automatically applied; if you pick any other band, it will be listed as a separate item at a cost.
The coupon that applies to the 'defaut band' is "ET", so if you want a different band, find the product number, "pre order it", and then create the coupon via the above method.

for example, say you wanted the "Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic Sport Band, S/M, Black" https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile...r86sbeguj/

The product/item/etc number (whatever it's called) for that particular band is sfr86sbeguj (you can find that in the URL or in the description just below the name on it's product page). Click preorder to add it to your cart, then capitalize all letters of the product id and prepend "ET" to the front, and add that as a coupon. For the above band, the coupon would be "ETSFR86SBEGUJ". Note you'll need to remove the band that you chose with the watch if applicable (only one band coupon appears to apply at once), and the coupon doesn't work if you just try to order a band by itself (I tried)

I have a 45mm watch 3 now and was considering the classic 4 46mm because of the WearOS and the faster charging. Got the honey $50 popup on Samsung's website and decided to order. With EPP, watch 3 trade in and the hybrid band I paid $189 ($180 watch 3 classic + $9 hybrid band). The Watch 3 trade in was $185 and I paid $148 for it from a previous SD, so not too bad. I also have the $50 Samsung credit and whatever cash back I get from Honey (1% - 6%).

I'm not sure what triggers it. I just made sure I had ad blockers turned off in Edge (Chrome) before going to the page and in about 10 seconds it popped up. Just make sure the Honey plugin is installed and logged into your Honey account.

This is what was formerly the Active version. They're not using that title going forward. The rotating dial version is called Galaxy Watch 4 Classic
