Jedec and XMP compatible to 3200 @1.2. Which means it should run full speed in most laptops without tweaking bios. Pictures in review shows dual rank as well.

This is not half bad, but is it too slow for Ryzen 5000

It's not that big of a jump between 3200 up. Default speeds are 3200. If you start overclocking, 3600 is the best price for performance target.

Bought these for $135 last Saturday. Gonna see if I can get a price match/refund. I got these for my Framework laptop as it was a better price to get these than 2 8gb sticks

I actually just ordered these for that laptop coming next month! Guessing they've been working fine for you?

Oh I also have the Framework (currently using old 2x8gb) and am considering getting this, or holding out for 2x32gb. How are these working, and any insight into battery consumption?

I don't have enough idea on secondary timings of ram. Can you guys please educate me if this ram is a good ram for Ryzen 7 5800h. Planning to upgrade my legion 5 pro from 16gb to 32 gb.

I should have mentioned that I don't have the laptop. It will ship September. I initially bought the storage and RAM through Framework but found them cheaper on Newegg instead. I can't wait to get this laptop. Has it been good for you?

Ironically enough, I also meant that mine is coming in September! Guess we'll both see how it performs then. Looking for the Hnyix P31 Gold to go back on sale for it in the meantime also

What spec did you get for your framework?

Also bought these for a forthcoming Framework laptop, shipping in Batch 2 (sometime this month). Paid $130 + tax from Amazon, so I only have a tinge of SD remorse at seeing this deal. Fingers crossed that they're compatible, as this isn't expressly listed on their RAM compatibility list [frame.work]. I recall reading somewhere [EDIT: here [frame.work]] that the Crucial Ballistix sticks won't be fully compatible with the laptop, but someone did post success @ 3200 with these G.SKILL sticks.

Ah I see, yeah I was super excited as well as I had my eye on it since it was announced back in February or whatever! Haha, overall I'm really loving the Framework laptop.

In brief:

Keyboard: really good, I'm a stickler for typing. A joy to type on

Screen: really good, 3:2 2K is a joy to use, nice anti-glare layer, but not matte. Can get very bright. Though I haven't tested outside yet.

Speakers, surprisingly good, somehow with a good amount of *clean* bass. I hear MacBooks are the highbar for laptop audio quality, though I haven't really listened to them at length so I can't compare. I normally listen on reference monitor JBL LSR305, for comparison.

Overall build quality: very solid, I feel like it'll last a long time, no major qualms.

Touchpad could be better, and apparently was a small number of production issues. Perfectly fine for tap to click/gestures, no major gripes (not Surface/MacBook level, shrugs). More info in the forums.

The only real shortfall, imo, may be battery life, compared to some top performing ultrabooks in the price range. I've been running battery tests over last the few days and trying to optimize in Fedora (dual boot Windows). Still early, and firmware/driver updates could improve it. I also seem to be seeing an extra 1W of battery draw from the HDMI expansion card, and they're seeing if they can replicate the issue. More info in the forums.

I want to mention that the team has been very quick/responsive and transparent with customers over at their community forums (which contain some good info). Super refreshing!

Coming from a Dell XPS 15 9550 4K and Huawei Matebook X Pro 2018, as recent reference points.
