WARNING: There are two noteworthy issues with Boost Mobile.
  1. Data allotments are hard capped. Your internet speeds will not simply decrease - your data will turn off completely once you reach your plan's data limit. This is because part of their business model is to sell you more data during your billing cycle.
  2. While a GSM carrier using T-Mobile's network, you cannot simply activate any GSM unlocked phone. Your phone(s) must be on their approved list. You cannot work around this by activating on an approved phone and SIM-swapping to an otherwise technically compatible phone - you will have no service until you switch back to the phone you activated.
Fortunately, there's a similar deal with Tello with a lower per month cost and neither of the limitations above here: https://slickdeals.net/f/15064825

Boost's data allowance is hard capped, unlike Tello's.

Both are GSMT.
FreeUp Mobile and Unreal Mobile offer the same pricing as Mint Mobile, but instead of making use of the T-Mobile network they use AT&T's.

In times of network congestion, networks slow down (deprioritize) prepaid users to varying extents. Verizon is considered the worst at this practice, and AT&T the best.

Saw something about T-Mo shutting down Boost towers. Not sure when or if it's going thru but that's gonna render Boost CDMA phones useless

Boost hasn't been activating new CDMA lines in a while - this is a GSMT offering.

I'm sorry for asking, but can I throw one of these sim cards into an Xfinity/Verizon phone that is paid off?

You can port out your current # at Yellow , port into the new Tello #. Or just get a new # from Tello, and dump the old Yellow #.

You need to contact Verizon to unlock your phone before purchasing a new line.
Some Verizon phone model are useless even after unlocking, they are for CDMA networks only.

BTW, Tello has referral promotion. Both the new account and the current active account can get $10 credit as further payments.

Almost certainly, yes.

Just make sure that your provider SIM/Carrier unlocks your phone.
