Multi level mapping 😳. I have a Mi Vacuum and an older version of the Roborock for upstairs and downstairs. If one of them ever gives out I'm over this. LIDAR is 🔥

I have this model, S6 pure and the first gen Mi vacuums. S4 max has the best battery capacity, however it's the only one that needs a lots of effort for resetting as it drops WiFi connection all the time even with firmware update. Maybe mine is just a exception.

Great value. I have the regular S4 and this adds better height and carpet handling iirc. Wish it had the Roomba brush setup or auto-empty base but not going to get that for $300 (was tempted by the previous shark deal but no lidar)

I have both the S4 Max and S5. The S4 needs to recharge when cleaning a roughly 2500 sq ft area, while the S5 doesn't. I would spend the extra money on the S5 deal if you have a bigger area, even if you don't think you'll use the mopping feature (I use it, but still manually mop every few weeks).

I have a roborock s5, it has map. But I am not sure whether it's multi-floor map since I only used it to clean downstairs. Just ordered this one for upstairs. Do I need to cancel?

I think multilevel is only available on the S5 Max..

Per the first link, S5 also can save 2 maps in addition to the current map. At the end it mentioned multi-floor plan. To my understanding, it seems the multi-floor plan is that you don't have to manually switch between the current/saved map for different floor--it can automatically recognize which floor it is on. Am I right?

Hi all. S4 does have multi-level. I use it every week. You can store multiple maps. Put it on the next floor, start cleaning, it will return to where you started it (vs going to a dock).

Im not looking at mopping functionality. So, is this better than s6 for me or should I consider buying s6 for a few more bucks. I'm talking about s6 not s6 max.
