Yes and no. The PB1000 (non pro) is a 10" sub. The RSL Speedwoofer 10S is also a 10" woofer. There's quite a few high performance "small" subs. You don't NEED a 12" woofer and going just on the woofer size alone isn't a good idea either. I agree though, a single better sub could be better here as long as it's placed correctly.

I'm considering this deal and not a sme. Can you provide more info why the two subs don't cut the rest?
These subs are not bad for the price of the bundle. You need at least 12 inch drivers to create enough air pressure in the room to make thumping bass. The rest of the speakers are all top notch and these subs are just a grade lower than the lineup. If you have not heard big subs, you might be fine with this package. I personally love Klipsch speakers but not a fan of their subs. SVS is what I go for.

I am new to Klipsch and been looking for these type of deals. Given Klipsch themselves did a 50% off sale last month and Adorama also has so many deals so far.... Is it a good idea to wait till thanksgiving for much better deals? I am no rush to buy and thanksgiving is where I am looking to buy few other electronics as well.

Wow. Lol. What a generic post. Sounds like this guy (a) thinks everyone's room is the same size and/or isn't enclosed, and (b) has never listened to the SVS PB1000, the RSL Speedwoofer 10s, or the Klipsch SPL110 or R110. Oh...I almost forgot the new dual 8" SVS sub. Haha!!
Thank you. I just sent them a message. I was watching a video on YouTube from AV Nirvana and they said this speaker goes down to the $500s when on sale. The margins on these speakers must be huge at MSRP.
