Can this climb over ridges from one room to another? For example if one room has tile and the next room is a little higher cuz it has carpet and is raised like an inch with a metal thing

I got one and all you need is to record the video and some pictures then email to them. Once, they have received it they will evaluate and tell you to ship it back to their warehouse for the repair or replacement that depending on your issues. Very easy to deal with.

Do any of the roborock models handle medium pile carpet yet? I have an S4 for my hardwood flooring but it's a disaster on the carpeted areas of my house.

After doing a ton of research, the S4 is supposed to be Roborocks best on carpet...

Apparently Roomba has a patent on the dual brush design so even it's lowest priced models do a better job on carpet than any of the competitors.

The problem isn't how well it can clean the carpet, but rather the traction of the wheels on carpet. My unit constantly errors out as stuck and will accidentally start turning when it's attempting to go straight. On Reddit, people with deeper carpet claim that even the Roomba S9+ has a lot of difficulty or is essentially unusable.
