Is this something worthwhile to replace my TPLINK C1200? Otherwise, I'm thinking of just pay extra and get Asus RT-AX58u

this is the same as Netgear RAX50
best router for now.
I agree. I bought this one couple of weeks ago and I am extremely satisfied. Its a great deal (lowest i've seen) on a well made wifi6 for the price. You could wait for wifi6E but unless you live in an apartment with lots of networks, you aren't going to need it. Also I *DO NOT* use the Smart Connect(SC) feature because I am fine with managing which of my devices go to which frequency band(2.4g vs 5g) on my own. I don't need SC. On the other hand, *DO* turn on the AX w/OFDMA feature of this router. You won't regret it. 3100 sqft home, i can get 800mb down at the router and 300mb and the opposite corner of the house, and yes in 5G! good luck!
So far, performance is great. Also great is the ability to use DFS channels, which nobody in my condo complex is using. 🥳
Downside is, due to heavy interference around me, 5ghz range gives me 2/3 bars in one room, sometimes dropping to 1. May need to mount it on a wall for better reach. I think a single X5700 will give better coverage, but it's not worth the extra spend.
Now I need to get more wifi6 devices that support wpa 3. I enabled it but even my 2020 LG CX can't support it so I had to step down to wpa 2.
