Milwaukee bits are hard to take out from its slots. They gotta loosen them holes.
Purchased this for about the same, if not exactly the same price earlier this year. Nice bits. Nice cases. Also, the little tic tac box that you might expect to just be a pile of #2 Philips are not. They are a grab bag of various other types of bits.
100% agree. Milwaukee bit cases are the worst.

I doubt any one actually paid $49 for that set. Just my 2 cents. $25 looks like an OK to good price if you need that assortment. For me it has too many odd bits I would not use. But if you use them, the $25 is a decent price.

Don't do it. These bits are impact rated and look very nice but are very brittle. I broke a few already from last sale.

Yes, PIA getting the bits out! Hope these are better than the first gen impact. The philips would round out too quickly compared to other brands also. Peace

Shockwave bits are the only ones I've ever broken, lol.

Yes... my gawd! What's weird is they do t fit into my other bit boxes very well.

I could probably build a Beach Bar in Tahiti with all the mini bit boxes from Milwaukee lol.

Actually, I think I'm going to shred some today to repurpose in the future. (Ya never know when you might need a red piece of HDPE fascia to put up?!) Lol

These look different from my older shockwave bits. These are the cheaper gray powdered metal style vs the older black shockwave that were more durable.

The grey-tipped bits are 10x the lifespan of the older black-tipped bits, in my experience. The blacks would be camming out after a week of use.

Thanks! My husky bit set is not impacted rated, and my store didn't have that ryobi bit set deal, so I'm going for this one. I only do casual around the house stuff so this should last a long time.

Bits will last much longer if you drill proper sized pilot holes, make sure you use proper sized bit (I recently was using T25s mistakenly on a T30 fastener and was getting frustrated at the poor connection. Shame on me) and apply appropriate pressure on driver and do not pull up while driver is still spinning. Lack of Pilot holes is my guess as the biggest problem. Can confirm the bits are tight in these boxes but once you pull them in and out a few times it gets easier

These are just the newer version, if anything they are more durable and better quality and the old black bits are cheaper made.
