Definitely a good deal. I got the 75 piece (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../320281276) for $20 earlier this week and see the quality is pretty good on these bits as compared to other ones I have seen

A good deal for some good bits! Got this kit much earlier in the year for around the same price. The only thing about this kits are, have pliers at the ready as the plastic molding is TIGHT and it's almost impossible to remove the bits with just your fingers.

There's so many kit options with these bits. Which ones or combos would an average home DIYer benefit the most and not ended up with 50+ PH2 and T25 heads?

Has anyone tried that right angle attachment? I've needed to drill in tight spots more than once, but not often enough to buy a dedicated right angle drill.

Why would an average home DIYer buy multiple kits?

But to answer your question, I tend to look at kits like this one. Smaller kits have the most common bits and when you end up getting a couple small kits or small and large then you have a bunch of the same stuff. If you get the super large, has everything kits then you get stuff you don't ever use. Go middle of the road and you'll have what you need when you need it.

I think this has a good balance and you know they're good quality, I've never used a square bit in my life though. Is that special application? Also with the hex I always find the screws are weaker than the bit and impact will rip right through. Torx for the win, and give me some P2 and P3

Great bits but HATE the case. Have to seriously yank on the bits to get them out. Pains me to say that Dewalt cases are vastly superior.

According to Project Farm, the shockwave bits came out on top as the best bit:

I'm definitely in for a few of these!

Personally I find the bits a PITA to take out of the case as compared to dewalt or other brands that kind of "roll" out of the case. Good quality, just sometimes frustrating.

Don't ever get Ryobi kit then, I got a cheap one a few years back and you seriously need a hammer / pry to get them in and out
