If at all possible get to a showroom and try numerous chairs, they all sound amazing on their websites but the price points and actual functionality varies greatly. I was set on getting a Titan Jupiter but 30 seconds in the chair I realized it wasn't for me and would have been a PITA to return. Amazingly heavy and cumbersome to move.

There are a couple showrooms in southern NH, some in Texas (Osaki/Titan US hq) and Costco Osaki Roadshow that goes around the country.

Not True.
I bought one of these a couple years ago and it is still in perfect condition.
It was a different modal than these ( Osaki TP-8500) I paid 1527.00 which included sales tax
I have probably used it at least 300 times

I've heard all brands of these types of chairs are prone to breaking after a few years of use and the price to fix them isn't worth it as you'd be close to buying a new one.

These things look like trash after moderate use. The fake leather cracks, tears, and the color either wears away or peels off. Just poor material quality.

They should use microfiber instead of fake leather. Microfiber last forever.

True. Typically 3d and 4d models are much higher quality.

IMO the extra money to upgrade is 100% worth it. These things pay for themselves a hundred times over.

Every time I'm tempted by these behemoths and wonder why they are a bargain at $1500 and goes up to $5k, I look at my japan imported Thrive CHD-3200 massage chair I've had for 6 yrs and use it almost daily. It's starting to have issues but still mostly works but I can't find a Japan importer store to ship me one anymore. Even with shipping price it's still better price than these and will likely last longer.

is this good for tall people? does it adjust for longer legs? I'm 6.1' and sat in a massage chair in which I wasn't very comfortable

Off-topic question. Sorry. Does anyone know where I can buy replacement remotes? Any model? I have one chair, not this brand, and I lost the remote, and it was pretty much useless. I need a replacement remote, and the seller is not on the market anymore. I bought it from eBay 5 years ago as people buy remotes for TVs, not the real remote of that brand. I was just wondering about the same replacement remotes available for massage chairs. Any help is appreciated.
