I'll bite. Need something for my 2008 for streaming.

Update: Didn't work for me. Streaming cut in and out. Returned it.

2008? I thought aux port was the norm at the time? Bluetooth phone call for example wasn't included in every basic entry level class. guess I learned something new.

That's the point. This will plug into the aux port and provide wireless Bluetooth connection to a car that doesn't have it. Unless I'm missing something?

Great for airplanes with screens to use with your own Bluetooth headphones

I've tried the FM receiver ones and the sound is very low in my car speakers. This one is different since it uses the Aux plug.

Will this one automatically reconnect when my phone comes within range (assuming it's powered up)? You'd think that would be a standard feature, but none of the ones I've tried so far do it.

I have a previous model. It works great in our backyard to stream a projector to our speakers, so we can have people over to watch movies or play video games

Would this work to be able to stream audio from a projector to a sound bar? If not could someone recommend something for that?

This will work as long as you connect it to the projectors audio out, and the sound bar has BT. However, unless your sound bar has AptX low latency, there will probably be noticeable lag/ lip sync issues.

Got it. Thanks. Is there something that's better suited for what I mentioned?

I have been looking for something to connect the Fire TV stick I have plugged into my projector to my Onkyo receiver. The Onkyo has built in BT, but the lag was VERY noticeable, as in, almost 2-3 seconds of lag between video and audio! Recently, I tried using my Echo Dot (2nd Gen) to connect my Fire stick through BT, and the Dot to my receiver through Aux cable, and it has worked perfectly. FYI, in case you have an Echo Dot (or Google Home mini) lying around. They're usually also on sale for $15-20.

Gotcha. I have my projector hooked up to my pc/Xbox/ps4 at the moment. So I'm looking to just stream the audio without having to run cables in the ceiling or along the walls.
