Korean BBQ marinade is really easy to make, for those of you who don't want to buy pre-made (not knocking the product- I like Bibigo stuff). Google a kalbi or bulgogi recipe. It's essentially soy sauce (a fair amount), sesame oil (not as much), garlic (to taste, but usually a lot), and some form of sugar (honey and brown sugar are often used; to taste, though most people like a lot of it). That's it, though you can fancy it up a bit, too with things like mirin (small amount), ginger (to taste), green onion, citrus (adds some sugar and the acid helps tenderize the meat), kiwi (same reason as the citrus), etc. It's very difficult to screw up
Ingredients:
Soy Sauce (Water, Hydrolyzed Soybean Protein, Salt, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Defatted Soybean, Wheat, Distilled Alcohol, Koji), Sugar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Pear Puree (Pear, Ascorbic Acid), Onion Puree, Water, Garlic, Apple Puree (Apple, Ascorbic Acid), Cooking Rice Wine, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Salt, Seasoning Sauce (Maltodextrin, Hydrolyzed Wheat and Soybean Protein, Sugar, Salt, Corn Syrup, Glucose, Onion, Yeast Extract, Garlic, Green Onion, Spices), Green Onion Extract (Green Onion, Corn Syrup, Salt), Black Pepper Powder, Ginger Extract (Ginger, Maltodextrin, Salt), Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum, Caramel Color, Sesame.
Why HFCS is bad?

High fructose corn syrup has crept into more of our foods over the last few decades. Compared with regular sugar, it's cheaper and sweeter, and is more quickly absorbed into your body. But eating too much high fructose corn syrup can lead to insulin resistance, obesity, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.

I really like this stuff. Great for marinading thin cut steak for skewers, everyone goes nuts for them and I can never make enough.

Ahhh. I would like one for 1/6th the total price maybe, but buying in bulk probably isn't great when most of my family is on some kind of diet... If it matters to anyone, there's 6g of sugar per tbsp, but you're probably not thinking about that lol

Edit: This seems like it's actually a really good price - if you would use it, and if you like it. Originally when I googled the normal price, it was about $4.39 on Target's preview of the product... but it shows at $5.99 per bbq container when you click the live Target link.
Sometimes their online prices are cheaper than the actual in-store price though. ~$5.99 per item * 6 would be ~$35.94. Not sure if these are ever cheaper at Korean grocery stores or anything.

Bibigo is great and one of the most popular brands in Korea. I'd trust any of their product to be tasty.

High fructose corn syrup is part of the ingredients. If you are actively avoiding HFCS then stay away

I buy this all the time individually and they are pretty expensive ($5-$6 per bottle in HCOL area). This is a great deal.

I use it on chicken breasts and then air fry (live in a condo and can't have a grill). It tastes great! I have tried various Korean BBQ marinade and I always come back to this one.

My wife uses kiwi slices in her marinade. Provides sweetness and a bit of citrus. I have seen kiwi being used in many marinades.
