Gorogoa has been on my steam wishlist for a while now, but hasn't dropped below $4.49 that I've seen. Decided to just pick it up here, thanks!

Does anyone familiar with these games know if they'd be fun for 5 year olds? I see a few listed for ages 4+, but they seem pretty sophisticated.

Donut County maybe? The gameplay basically consists of dragging a hole around and trying to get things to fall into it which makes the hole get bigger. There are some dialogue-heavy cutscenes that I can't remember if you can skip or not but at least they feature some cute talking animals. Only others ones I would even consider for that age, gameplay-wise, would be Flower and Journey, but Flower takes itself too seriously and the ending of Journey would be too upsetting for a small child.

Donut county would be great. Basically just making objects fall in a hole. Though the toddler might get bored of the "story". It's actually funny at times if you are playing along and reading to them might even be more fun.

Yep, I fully agree with this. Most of the games (Florence, Telling Lies, Gone Home, If Found) are too mature and likely wouldn't hold a kids attention anyway, Gorogoa is too difficult for that age. Journey would be a maybe.

What!? Donut County was on mobile? Never knew. I played it on Switch. I think it's worth the $2 of entertainment. It's short if one rushes through it as I think the story is what compels one to continue playing. Gameplay is fun enough for a child though.

Donut County is worth the $2. I'd say it's a little bit shallow for a puzzle game, but it kept me amused for 2-3 hours when a flight was delayed last year.

Still bummed that Annapurna never brought Journey to Android. EASILY worth $1.99 for iOS users!

At least I can play it through Steam Link!
