Best MESH and best SINGLE router if you only need one of them for the money PERIOD. No other router or mesh system can deliver the performance of this system thats under $1000. This can deliver over 1.2Gbps of ISP over wireless to wifi 6 clients.

Happy this deal is back a lot of people missed out last time.

Missed out on this sale last time. Glad it came around again. I had actually placed an order for the AX6600 on Amazon, then canceled it for this. Hoping this solves my connectivity issues with my 4+ year old Google wifi system.

Yep why this is not a FP deal makes no sense, this is better than every other router deal on currently out there.

The only thing this system misses the mark on is full fledged customization for tinkers.

I run a fortigate router with 20GigE ports. It doesn't do wifi so I'm thinking of adding this set (replaces an old Ten da MW6 mesh system in bridge mode). Pretty much best of both worlds right?
I can't do wired back haul so the dedicated 5ghz backhaul channel is very much welcomed.

Can this system allow you to select channel for optimization?

Should be a very solid upgrade over a Ten MW6 which for the value was a great system, I think $120 for a 3 pack when other mesh systems were all well over $250 at the time.

Manual channel selection cant be done, its all automated. I know they talked about adding that option to firmware but that was over a year ago and I havent seen anything about it in firmware updates beiung added so I would not hold my breath.

The only things you can do:

Change the name and password of your main Wi-Fi network. You can only use a single SSID.
Turn the bands (2.4GHz or 5GHz) on or off.
Customize the Guest Wi-Fi the way you do the main.
Pick you the Wi-Fi security encryption between variants of WPA2 and WPA3.

Darn. I was hoping I can change channel (MW6 can't). Well, I don't really need a mesh system in my place (less than 2000sqft). I'll look for an ax router for use as bridge. One unit should be able to cover less than 2000sqft with some walls. My current problem is interference from neighbors. I believe upgrading to AX (wifi6) should help that.

Buy the 2 pack since its better than even a single $500 router and better than some the Wifi 6E routers. Sell the 2nd unit and make your cost to purchase not even $200 for something that competes in the Triple AAA category.People even on here always looking for another unit so should be a easy sell of the 2nd unit.

This thing has powerful antennas that even with channel interference should punch through everything, unless you literally got networks completely surrounding you with FEM type antennas. I think 1 depending on construction material and interference should probably cover 2K sq feet depending on centralization of the router.

Only two routers that beat this in performance are the Asus GT-AXE11000 and the Netgear RAXE500 to put into perspective how good of a single router solution this is.

Other than the aforementioned lack of configuration choices, this has been running without issues or reboots since my 20 min installation. I don't really need configuration options because my needs are simple though.

Running at 300 Mbps up/down wireless over Wifi 6 AX.

Edit: I can get about 20Mbps outside in my car parked on the sidewalk through brick outer wall. That might be about 60-70 feet.

Just installed this last night. Took about 20 minutes total for both with a firmware update. Used same SSID and pw as before and all my devices automatically connected effortlessly, with the exception of a printer that had to be restarted to connect.

Prior: The old small round/white Google mesh hubs (4 total), Xfinity 800mbps, 2-story 70 year-old house, ~1800 sqft, about 50 devices (IoT, phones, media, pc's) all connected via wifi. Speed to the main Google hub was between 750-900. Over wifi right next to that hub never got over 400 on my phone. Closest media device (Apple TV) to main hub is about 12ft away, usually got around 200. Furthest device from main hub is another Apple TV on another floor at opposite end of the house (about 10ft from a satellite hub), usually got 70. Had been experiencing stability issues the past few months.

Now: Two AX5700 units, one on each floor. The main one connected to the modem now connects at over 800mbps on my phone standing next to it, essentially zero speed loss! The closest ATV gets over 500! The furthest ATV gets over 300 via wifi (satellite hub a foot away). And if I connect it via ethernet to that hub it gets over 500! Even my Tesla in the garage now gets 3 bars vs a single bar before.

To say that I'm happy with this Deco AX5700 is an understatement. I'll update its stability over the next couple weeks.

Yep night and day difference with the only possible issue a very small select people experience, is the 2nd node disconnecting from the main 1st node occasionally. Its in a very few instances I seen it mentioned but worth letting people know even if unlikely. Outside of that I dont see any problems with these units, they are amazing!

Why this is not FP and why its not getting more TU just shows how "knowledgeable" a lot of users on slick deals are. Cause I seen some single router and old mesh close to this price or more costly get a lot of love which cant compare to this in anyway.

That is unfortunate. The only reason I was looking at this is my orbi ac3000 mesh started to lose the connection between satellite and main unit every now and then and it gets annoying when watching a movie on plex.

I hate Orbi and will never buy another Netgear product. I had the orbi AX4200 and constantly had network drops due to DNS errors. Turns out Netgear put a data tracker on it that phones home for everything you do but they managed to f up the DNS management while doing so. So I used another router as the main router and the Orbis in AP mode which worked for a while until the DNS issues somehow came back along with a host of other issues.

I bought a Deco AX3000 3-pack for $250 and not only was it way easier to setup it just works. Haven't had a single issue in a few months now.

If you really think your luck is that bad to get multiple units from two different companies than yeah stay away.

As you can see per the few people who tried the items including me we are extremely happy and have had no issues.

It was mentioned as a FYI but not as something very common.

Thanks. Will give this a try. Orbi worked for more than 2 years without problem (I am using it in AP mode as my centrylink fiber only works with their own router. )

But suddenly it started dropping satellite. No changes have been made to network. It came out of nowhere. No firmware update No new node.

Hopefully this can be easily configured as AP as well through the app.
