Anyone know how good these are? I currently have wired Ring stick up cams(the good ones, not the crappy new ones) outdoors

I'm debating on getting the wired spotlight cams.

Eufy wired spotlight cams are really good - it's not the ones in this deal though. Those go on sale for $130 from time to time

Love my Eufys, including the home base. I like the storage indoors and it can sound an alarm. This one does not use the base.

Anyone successfully powered one of these via POE splitter?
I already have cat5e wired to 12 drop points and 8 of them are used with Lorex 8 channel IP cam kit (Costco's recent deal) and I'd like to test eufy cams with the other 4 drop points.

I have the indoor 2k version mounted under my back porch (away from direct rain, but still very much 'outside') for over a year now and the performance has been excellent. Bought a 'high endurance' samsung SD card for 24/7 loop recording for $10 (another SD) so I'm at $40 all in, price to performance on these is unmatched.

i have a bunch of 2K indoor cameras around the house and out with the animals, they've all been great here in NY winter, no issues as long as you keep them covered from rain/snow.
at 30$ (normal sale) or less (28$ last time i bought 4), their an awesome deal for a great product... these though, 85$ for one camera is a really hard pill to swallow. they're no longer comparable to the Wyze crap either, being their outdoor solution is so much more expensive than the v3 (I'm a Eufy convert, came from Wyze, wouldn't touch their bate/switch nickle/dime hardware/methodology ever again).

this is an odd move by Eufy... that crappy little LED light they put in it doesn't add much cost. no reason they couldn't make it waterproof and keep the price similar, as Wyze did with their v3 (while putting in a Starlight sensor for some damn impressive night vision.)
I'm at a loss her as to what Eufy did that warrants the price increase. Unless they're just trying to makeup some money because they have no subscription costs and all the AI is local..?

I have 2 of these cameras in use.
I bought one at launch for my backyard patio and recently picked up another one about a month ago to monitor my side yard.
I live on a corner near a major road, so have quite a few angles to cover.
I mainly use Nest to cover my primary areas (2x Nest Outdoor IQ and 1x Nest Outdoor.

These Eufy 2K Outdoor cameras have worked great in the time I've had them!
The one I'm using to cover my side yard is 100% exposed to the elements. I live in central Texas so it's been getting hammered by rain and temps around 100 degrees.

I love the ability to record 24x7 on a schedule to help conserve the amount of data being written to the MicroSD card. I have 128GB cards in each. I have them set to ONLY record 24x7 between 9PM and 8AM. The rest of the time it will only record if it detects activity.

The spotlight is pretty bright and is strong enough to help change the image from black and white to color easily.

I also own a Eufy 2K Indoor camera that I have to look outside one window and also have a Eufy 2K Indoor Pan/Tilt to keep an eye on my dog Smilie.

Tempted to get one. I got 7+ indoors camera that I use outside under the eave and it works fine in mild CA weather.

Works but simply hard to justify the cost over the indoor cams ($30 vs $84). Same video quality, with blown highlights, same night vision when led is off.

They prioritized profit over features on this one

Agreed. I would rather find a way to buy the indoor cam and convert to make it outdoor-proof.
