Has anyone on SD bought a NFT? I bought a Tom Brady and Wayne Gretzky NFT on Draftkings. Both of them for $12 each just for fun. Is it worth anything?

I can see NFT being a thing example is the game Counter strike. The most recent one has item drops you can sell on the steam store. Back in 2019 I received crates that can be open with a Key (bought threw steam store) to open them and it was a chance at getting common items to rare items. Today these crates that were free are selling for $4-10 since you can not get them anymore. This is an example of a NFT that you can make a profit off of, IE opening a crate with a $2.50 key and getting a knife skin that is worth $500.

The issues is everyone is flooding to the NFT market just like the crypto and you have all these scam ones. It is flooded, I think it will be something down the line like owning the NFT of a Kanye album or NFT ticket to a concert venue. But these trading card NFT that draft king made themselves I think are not worth it there are no sentimental value to it to make it worth something down the line. Yeah that's what i figured. I only bought it for a gag.. Only spent $24 bucks for the 2 crappy NFT's of Tom Brady and Wayne Gretzky. Lesson learned for me. Wasted $24. Could of had a nice lunch with the $24.

Spoke too soon. The Tom Brady NFT is fetching for over $450. I was also able to get the $12 Tiger Woods NFT which goes for about $180 now. Not bad for something I can't even touch or smell.

I think you did well. These initial NFTs will do well. But there are already millions on the market and that won't work long-term.

Where can I find more information about NFT? want to get in to it. If this mean anything, I have some video game code that hasn't been redeemed
