Folds nicely, gets 18 miles of range for my 120 lb wife, only issue is the cruise control UI is annoying, it's hard to tell when it's on or off.

What would you recommend. Somewhere in the $500ish max price
This is rated as the best all-around "standard speed 15MPH scooter" for under $500 for 2020. I researched every scooter available and watched almost every YouTube review for sub $500 scooters (I watched hundreds of videos!) and this was the model that was most consistently recommended as being the best value for the money which is why I bought it November 2020 and have used it almost every day since then. It has the battery in the base instead of the stem for better weight distribution, the high battery capacity give this scooter equal range to many $500-$800 models, it has features like cruise control that most cheaper scooters don't have, it has a digital readout showing your speed in 1/10th MPH increments, 4 bar battery meter, has a bright white headlight and red taillight for night riding which also blinks when braking, tires come pre-filled with Slime from the factory for good flat prevention since scooter tires/tubes are a huge pain to change, and has rear disc brake but it is pretty weak and needs a little adjustment ouf of the box to work well. The next step up would be about $800 for scooters that go 18MPH with only slightly better range but are usually a bit heavier, then $1200-$1400 for the scooters that go about 28MPH with nice wide tires and full suspension...and of course you can't forget the Rion Thrust for $8500 that goes 80MPH lol!

Only if you're looking for more range. This scooter is rated for 18.6 Miles but you'll probably get half of that depending on the temperature and terrain.
That is not true. All the reviews showed this scooter got nearly it's rated range under normal riding conditions, and I have this scooter and ride it to work every day which is 5.1mi round trip and I intentionally didn't charge it for 2 days to test it's range and see if I could make 3 round trips on a single charge and it worked, so I've gotten at least 15.3mi range on a single charge and that's going up and down a few small hills each way so my findings match those of all the reputable reviews on YouTube and e-scooter review sites.

Great deal OP Smilie This is the lowest I think it's ever been (or close to the lowest). I don't know much about Camping World other than the CEO is Marcus Lemonis who has a good show called The Profit haha. They're a reputable company though!
Oh nooooo is this another Shark Tank?! RIP my productivity 😭

Where do you store this, if you're not just going for a leisure ride? Say for instance taking it to the gym or to work? Going to be moving, and hopefully find somewhere that is within 5 miles of a gym and work. Also how long does it take to charge?

Yea ideally I would like more range. I imagine this will give maybe 9-12 miles. I see the Niu is competitively priced for now relative to this and has a claimed 31, which I imagine will be closer to 15-18 realistically? Would you take the risk on such a company?
All the reputable reviews I've seen showed this scooter got nearly it's rated range under normal riding conditions.I bought this scooter at the end of last year and and I ride it to work every day which is 5.1mi round trip and I weigh about 150 pounds. I can go 3 trips on a single charge when it was 60F outside, and also 110F outside, so I've gotten at least 15.3mi range on a single charge in a wide temp range and that's going up and down a few small hills each way too, so my findings match those of all the reputable reviews on YouTube and e-scooter review sites which say this scooter's actual range is around 16-18 miles which is very close to the manufacturer's listed 18.6mi range.

The stem/bars fold down horizontally and it clips to the rear fender so it is easy to carry around using the stem as the handle. It is surprisingly fast to charge only taking 60mins if the battery is at 33% or 90-100mins if it is nearly empty. I keep it in my closet by my front door, or in my trunk of my car, or in the broom closet at work. It takes up about the same amount of space as a small narrow golf bag. As long as there is a place to charge it at the gym or work then you're good since it fully charges from 0% to 100% in under 2hrs and it's range is over 15mi so you'll have no problem as long as the gym or work is less than 15mi each way.
