Garmin Fenix 5 Plus Sapphire Edition Carbon Gray DLC Titanium with Black Silicone Band.
I found a $20 off coupon and got it for $315 shipped. The coupon appears to have reached the max. It was 20OFFMBS
I see this watch has been @ $300 on other sites, but may have had shipping and tax. This is the lowest current price I could find with the features I wanted.
Mybikeshop.com takes paypal.
They shipped the next day and used USPS First Class with tracking.
The watch was brand new and the box was sealed.
I found the Garmin black stainless steel band for it on bestbuy.com which is currently $53, marked down from $150.

Garmin also has a pretty tight lock on the sports market. If you're a runner and don't have an Apple watch, then you likely have a Garmin Forerunner/Fenix, with a handful buying Coros, Polar and Suunto. If you're a cyclist, you likely have a Garmin Edge or are part of the small group with the Wahoo Elemnt.
It's also a segment where touch screens aren't popular, and historically, Apple doesn't design products with more physical buttons than needed.

I think their fashion/upscale vanity is getting in the way.

That's my conundrum…I don't want to give up most of my Apple functions, so I'm amazed Apple hasn't just created a beefier, more sports-focused watch. I'm not a fanboy, but it seems like they could just emulate Garmin pretty easily and create a whole sports line.

If you think onboard music is a plus, then that alone makes it a better model. The sleep tracking is just okay so take it with a grain of salt. I thought the AmazFit's sleep tracking was way more accurate but the Fenix tracking is usable. I just like knowing how long I slept and at least I get a quick number. The graphics are a little better too...

Titanium seems worth it if you have to pay sales tax, or if you can get the 20 off coupon to work.
I also picked up this nylon band for $5 after a random $10 off promotion. Amazon offered the coupon.

It's velcro so I wouldn't wear it swimming in a lake or anything like that. The fit is very good, but my friend lost a watch while wearing a similar band...he jumped in a lake and it came off, so I'll use caution.
I wore it last night while I slept and it was comfortable.
Changing the bands is super easy on this watch. Takes seconds.

Amazon is only offering me 15% off for the green version. If I can get it $10 off, I will prob pick up that one too.

Agreed, I'd drop my Garmin in a second if they just released a watch that could track my activity/GPS for longer than a few hours without needing to recharge!
