the am09 is not an air purifier. it's only a fan + heat cool. this has a hepa air filter and is an air purifier. if they're both the same price i'd go with this one. the am09 is lighter though

seems to be the same size as AM09. For $20 more, this includes air purifier. Cancelled the other order and bought this instead. Thanks!

i have one of these and i highly recommend it. it does a great job at filtering allergens. although these things don't work like you'd think, for instance i'm allergic to german shepherds and we have one inside the house, i have an allergic reaction every time i walk in due to pet dander in the air. but if i stand in front of this thing and breathe the air coming out of it i can actually breathe. what this won't do is make the entire room breatheable, like some people think. if you're buying it for allergies. it does do a great job at purifying the air though. and the heat cool option is great as well. i have this one, the tp02 smart air purifier, and am011 non smart air purifier. also have a regular old air multiplier. this is a great price. the tp02 has a wifi feature but tbh i don't really think it's worth that much extra money. if you can get it for the same price fine, it's nice to have if you lose the remote. other than that, i generally just use the remote and keep it on top of the fan anyways.

I noticed the item is sold and shipped by Dyson, so does it have a warranty through them? Also anyone know if they ship it with a new filter (I suppose they do for sanitary reasons)

Just wanna comment that the warranty on refurbs for Dysons are legit. My old HP02 from 2019 crapped out recently, and Dyson sent me a brand new HP04.

Am09 gives this "H2" error when using heater mode that no one, including Dyson, knows how to solve. This model might be different, but I just saw a reddit comment that HP03 does the same thing too.
