The Kohler is more powerful and has a 3 year warranty where the HF engine has only a 90 day warranty (2 years for emissions control system). I'd go with the Kohler.

Which is better, 208cc 7HP Kohler Command Pro CH270 or Harbor Freight 212cc 6.5 HP Predator, both are around $150 in my area

The Kohler Command engine of yore, say 15-20 years ago, was a mighty fine & durable engine, often found on high-end mowers such as Exmark (I had a 23 hp one). I can't imagine they are still the same, but.................Repped, OP.
