Before making the choice about whether to go with various Ram + SSD option, I strongly suggest you watch the review video I've posted in the first post of this thread.

The 16GB Kit comes with two Single Rank 8GB modules (Ram chips only one side of the stick) which reduces the performance by certain degree as Ryzen Processors benefits from dual rank memory.

My recommendation will be buying the barebone and then get your SSD and Ram. They're charging extra $150 for 16GB Ram + 256GB SSD configuration which you can buy yourself. 256GB NVMe SSD can be found as cheap as $30-$40 if you look for the deals and 16GB kit will cost $60-$70.

Is 32gb really the max RAM? Some of the Intel NUCs list 32gb max but will support 64. Might have to wait until they ship I guess.

With 64gb this thing would make a nice VM host for a homelab.

Oops I misread the 16/32 as the RAM capacity… Guess it's time to start my weekend lol!

64gb capacity does indeed make this slick then

Very tempting. I have been looking at a HP mini PC with a 4650ge desktop processor.

Does the barebones (without ram and SSD) also include a Windows 10 license? I wouldn't expect it to, but the page lists it...

In heavily parallel workloads because it has two more cores, yea. But in games and limited thread workloads which is most things, no.

Well I made a Windows 10 LTSC evaluation media usb and installed that. Then I went through some process in a youtube video and permanently activated it. That's what I did the last time I needed a Windows install.

I love the development of iGPU all-in-one solutions.
