The 16GB Kit comes with two Single Rank 8GB modules (Ram chips only one side of the stick) which reduces the performance by certain degree as Ryzen Processors benefits from dual rank memory.
My recommendation will be buying the barebone and then get your SSD and Ram. They're charging extra $150 for 16GB Ram + 256GB SSD configuration which you can buy yourself. 256GB NVMe SSD can be found as cheap as $30-$40 if you look for the deals and 16GB kit will cost $60-$70.

Comically bad product. Gamers Nexus review says liquid metal was splattered all over the internal component. And reviews on the site are 1.9 stars. Would stay far away from this.
Omg, this is scary, can somebody received the unit confirm?
Can I cancel the order?
------------------------------------
Hello,
Recently, some Youtube reviewers have questions regarding our product and the way we market it.
First of all, we would like to apologize for the confusion that we cause to reviewers and our customers and would like to make some explanation regarding the questions that you may have:
1.Liquid metal splitting problem:
We tested our product in several ways and one of them is a drop test. HX90 passed the 60cm test.
But later when we did a 80cm test, we found a problem. Liquid metal leaked.
We want to improve it and raise the standard so the HX90 can survive an 80cm drop.
But because we had limited samples, we removed the liquid metal and used thermal paste in these review samples.
2. Is the product liquid metal applied?
The actual product is definitely liquid metal applied. There will be no problem with sealing. HX90 can survive 80cm drop tests.
In mid August, we were informed that the sealing technique was good enough and we can produce samples with liquid metal applied so we decided to send the second unit to reviewers because it would be better if they can test the sample which can represent the actual product.
The reason why reviewers got confused is that there were misunderstandings in our company's internal communication.
Our factory mistakenly sent the same sample as the first unit which was still using thermal paste.
There is no reason in the world that we would send a false product to reviewers to show our problems, especially reviewers like Linus Tech Tips, Jayztwocents and Gamers Nexus.
As soon as we found out we sent the wrong sample we wrote emails to all reviewers who received the second unit to try to clarify the mistake.
But damage had been caused and we are truly sorry for the time they spent testing the sample.
3. The inconvenient screws:
This is another difference from the actual product. The actual product will use Philip Screw.
As shown in the picture, this was designed before August.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion we caused to reviewers and customers. We will never lie to our customers and our products will be the same as the way we market them. We will upload a video filming how we apply liquid metal.
But regardless, please accept our humble apologies.
Thanks & Regards

Will get it opened up and inspected today.
All screws are Phillips.
There was no liquid metal splatter at all.
Base model purchased.
Installed 32gb gskill ram and 1tb Samsung NVMe. Installed win 10, no issues.
Boots to desktop in roughly 5 seconds.

90 degrees C means it's not liquid metal (from what I read online). As long as LM isn't splattered all over, I'll probably get one too. Would you still buy this after seeing it in action? Is the fan pretty silent like the reviews say?

Thanks for posting LM not splattered all over.. my guess is it's thermal paste..is the fan pretty silent? Would you buy it again? (Sorry if this is a double post, not familiar with this site)
