I used this years ago as a fix. Stopped the leak but when winter hit it was a new problem. Park at work for 8 hrs and the goop settles in the bottom of the wheel. Go to drive and the cold sludge takes 5-10 minutes to "balance" on the wheel on the highway. Felt like the car would shake apart until it warmed up and evened out.

Never used it since.

Along with using the soapy water, if the slow leak is not readily found at the tire surface, also spray the tire valve stems. After spraying, slightly push those stems side to side to make sure they are not cracked/split right where they go thru the rim.speaking of rims, if you have old aluminum rims, sometimes those can leak at the bead seat with night/day temp swings. Those type of leaks just need the tire un-mounted, the bead seat cleaned, and the tire re-mounted to fix.

Use soapy water to find the slow leak. Then use a real plug kit to seal the hole.

By definition if you mean a slow enough leak that the pressure will not change by much if you drive to the nearest tire center, then why bother? Just get it patched the real way.
I don't think this is meant to be a permanent fix.

Yes loses maybe 1psi every couple days... yeah I can do that I just like the idea of fixing my own minor leaks. Instructions always err on the side of caution to reduce liability so just looking for anecdotal experiences.

Used this on the small front tire on a zero-turn mower with rim leaks on both sides. Was surprised that it worked and has held pressure for three years now.

Great deal but you can also carry around with you a pair of heavy duty pliers with cutter, and a repair kit and actually fix the hole on the spot. You'll need a tire inflator though. I did a friend's tire and realized how simple it was to actually do it.

It's actually tougher to remove a tire from the rim, clean off the slime, remount it, and balance it. In other words, don't put goop stuff into that tire!

I have the same problem with my small front mower tire. Did you just put the slime in thru the valve stem or did you just run a bead of slime around the rim? I'm curious to know what worked for you.

It is only supposed to be used for temporary use. They recommend you have this removed and correctly patched within 100 miles. It is also not meant for bead leaks. It is only meant for tread leaks. It also may cause your tire to go out of balance so you will get vibration, which is another reason to get it removed and properly repaired.

You put it in through the valve stem

Don't put this crap in your tires, the person who ends up changing your tire eventually will have to clean up this goopy green mess. Like others have said, you're better off buying a plug kit.

The automotive shop can't patch your tire if you use this. Could end up turning a $10 patch job into a brand new tire $$$

Agree with post above mine.
Do not buy stuff like this.

If you have Discount Tire near you, they patch for free.
If you put this stuff in it, they won't touch it.
