Second lowest price this year.

I have a love/hate relationship with this monitor.

It's not bad at all as long as you know its limitations.

The first reading is often wrong and it does not have an automatic mode like other Omron to do three readings in a row.

But the wireless and upperarm is really good. Effortless so I can use it often during the day.

Works fine on rechargable AAA and batteries last forever.

Can store like 100 readings and transfer whenever to your phone/tablet.

It detects irregular heartbeat which is nice, which I can then check on my kardiamobile in more detail (same app/company).

Apparently Amazon is matching the Best Buy price (this is because vendors are not allowed to have a lower price elsewhere if they sell on Amazon, interesting eh?)

after the first reading it is accurate

for some reason the cuff doesn't settle until the first reading

yeah that's a little annoying but I like it better than wrist cuffs

I bought this before. Returned it. My forearm is 16" and bicep 20+. As has been said, if you lift, find a different one. Readings were horribly inaccurate. Which sucks, because it should still read fine on the forearm and it's super nice. I've had Omron before and they were good. And for the average person, it still might be good.

This is the one I went with and has been great:

You can literally check an irregular heart beat with one finger, which I assume that anyone who checks their blood pressure at home can figure out how to do

Do you find that it gets a lot of sporadic "Irregular Heartbeat" indications?
My Omron 10 drives me nuts with those.

Or some "supplements" that make up for not having the "lucky genes."

I love mine and find it extremely accurate and don't have that "first reading" issue/

I have an issue connecting it to the app with bluetooth. It worked with an older phone, but doesn't work with my newer phone. You know how frustrating that can be.

Thankfully you can get those lucky supplements from almost any anti-aging clinic.

I came across another brand which had better features and was on a limited time deal.

This has a hard plastic cuff inside to aid with one-handed operation. If you have biceps with any definition, it may be hard to get a good fit as the cuff doesn't mold around the arm as easily, or could slide down towards the elbow during inflation to yield higher readings.

Also, BT connection is flaky at best. Works for a while or not at all w/Samsung Health.
