Walgreen's Weekly Ad 8/22 -- 8/28

I agree with sugraray99 -prob best to try at the store and ask nicely without too many details. If you don't want to go to the store then use the live chat on their website. I always get points from them that way. I will just sit there until they give them to me I usually do the online chat thing but yesterday I tried the Oral B toothbrush deal. I forgot they all had to be the pro clean or whatever it was. There were only four of that kind left and I don't like clearing the shelf. I grabbed two, and then two of the other kind of Oral B that was on sale. I didn't get all of the points back. I sat in the car and debated whether I should just go home and use the live chat or go back in the store. I really didn't want to go back in so I ran another errand. After that I decided I might as well just go back in the store. So I went in the store and tried to explain to the young cashier what happened. She didn't want to do a total refund and she said it didn't matter if I went and exchanged the two brushes. She said she would just have the $4 in points added to my account. She called twice for a manager to come up to help. Then came a very young man (ugh, he's young enough to be my son) and she told him I was missing $4 in points. So as he's typing it in the system, I'm chatting with them about how their new pin pad threw me off (Yep, they got new pin pads there and it didn't even recognize my card so I had to type in my phone number). I'm being nice and polite. I look back and there's a line of at least six people now. He finished and said that he put $5 in my account. Umm alrighty then. I thanked him and walked away amazed. It was pretty painless. I was expecting a hard time.

Well crap, I was able to see it there last week before I updated my app. Now I don't see it at all.

after I login on the app it shows Walgreens Cash Rewards you click on that then it takes you to a page with option to view rewards activity

Is yours still showing it today? Mine is now only showing how much I earned in total but not the individual breakdown like it had been doing.

I did. As LadyD mentioned above, they've gone way downhill. 4 different chat reps, none understood and were quite short. I even asked for a supervisor. My chat ended up going into the clouds, literally. I could type all day long and nothing would show. Then randomly, it would go to a new chat rep. After 4 different reps AND a supervisor who I couldn't even see a response from, I gave up.

"As I stated above, ma'am, paying with rewards points will negate any booster points you expected". Me: "as I stated ma'am, I had over $47 worth of manufacturer's coupons AND it was your store who changed my order to $0.00 out of pocket".......

I can't stand long enough to do in-store. A quick in/out is one thing but to wait in line and then wait for a manager to be called and show up (sometimes3 times), I can't do it. I have to send hubby for those instances, and let's just say it's not his favorite thing to do because he doesn't know anything about couponing, lol". I might just return 3 of things I got that aren't associated with points/rebates and say fuhgettaboutit (well, he'll return)

New to Wags and wonder if you could tell me about the $5RR. How do you know which types of Crest qualify? I bought 2 of the 3D tonight with $3 coupons and got the $4 WCR on my receipt, but would have bought 4 if I knew what counted. Also, is there a limit on the $4 WCR on one account as I have more of the $3 coupons. Thanks so much for any help!

The 3D white does not count. Only the Advanced products: prohealth GUM protection and extra whitening count. on sale $3. must buy 4. No limit on WCR but one RR per transaction.

Hope you don't mind if I have another question! I had $19.90 in points, my order came to $17.16 and she told me I could only use $10 in points. Is this true? Also, can you use use more than one RR ($5 from Crest) in one order that comes to more than $10 and can it include more Crest if so? Sorry to be a pain, really trying to learn this.
